Atlas Cedarwood Oil | Cedrus Atlantica
Atlas Cedarwood Essential oil is a woody base note steam distilled from the cultivated wood of Cedrus atlantica. The aroma of cedarwood oil is balsamic and earthy with a touch of sweetness. Cedarwood has a long history as an incense and perfume, and was burned by the Greeks and Romans for fragrance.
Atlas Cedarwood is strongly antibacterial, effective as an expectorant in respiratory conditions, and aids to combat fluid retention in skin cells making this oil ideal for use in creams and lotions addressing cellulite. Because of its astringent and antibacterial properties this oil can be added to facial preparations to address oily skin or acne.
